The ProSoft Technology Customized CD is specifically designed to optimize remote rack implementations. It comes with ProSoft Configuration Builder (PCB) software, a Windows-based graphical user interface that facilitates simple product and network configurations. Leveraging sample ladder logic and Add-On Instructions (AOIs), it streamlines data transfer between modules and processors. The internal web server allows users to access essential product documentation, monitor module status, diagnose issues, and update firmware effortlessly. With a 4-character alphanumeric scrolling LED display, the CD presents status and diagnostic data in clear, understandable English, eliminating the need to decipher cryptic error codes. Additionally, the ProSoft Discovery Service (PDS) software is included to locate the module on the network and assign temporary IP addresses, ensuring seamless integration. The personality module, housed on a non-volatile industrial-grade Compact Flash (CF) card, stores network and module configurations for straightforward disaster recovery.
